In view of different nations as global village under one umbrella, the big picture of sustainable development on planet is emphasized more than ever in 21st century. A realization brings the responsibility to adopt an ethic of living sustainably, basing on a common destiny that all people belong to one human family of earth community. Need for an awareness of ‘global citizenship’, global cooperation and negotiation to address key global sustainable development issues with the perspectives of education cohesively. Various UN commitment and outcomes, to provide a broadly international set of values and attitudes for consideration and local adaptation in education settings
