Abstract

B.R.A.B.U., MUZAFARUR, BIHAR India had long been a religious country. Its religious features and practices are so amalgated with social customs, that we cannot separate them from each other. That is because of her deeply rooted religious beliefs. It is rather correct to say that ancient Indian social thinkers and ruling forces combinedly formulated social laws and custom inter migrated with religion. So that people adopt them with religious fears. Scientific reasoning of the Nature and its phenomenons were not known to all and this single fact facilitated in such a weaving of socio-religious fabric of Indian Society. The people considered every phenomenon of the nature as divine acts. The ancient thinkers of the rulers also preached the same. This was the case throughout the world.
