Abstract
The preset study is devoted to the Effect of Selected Asanas and Pranayamas on Physical and Physiological Parameters of school going Students. 20 subjects from Kamal Public Sr. Sec. School, Vikas Puri, during the session 2013-14 age group of 18 to 20 years have been taken as the experimental group. The study was delimited to the following physical parameters: - Flexibility (trunk-Forward). The study was further delimited to the following Physiological parameters: Flexibility, Heart Rate (Resting), and Vital Capacity. The study was delimited to the following Asanas and Pranayams: ASANAS- Surya-Namaskar, Sarvangasana, Halasana, Bhujangasana, Paschimottanasana, Ardhamatsyendrasana, Vajrasana, Tadaasana PRANAYAMAS- Anulom-Vilom, Suryabhedhana, Chandrabhedhana, and Yoga-Nindra. The hypothesis drawn was that there was a significant effect of Selected Asanas and Pranayamas on Physical and Physiological Parameters of female Students. order prescription
