Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is a ubiquitous pattern of dementia, portrayed by progressive loss of cognition and neuro-pathological hallmarks like amyloid-β (Aβ) plaques and neurofibrillary tangles built from hyperphosphorylated tau protein.
