Abstract
‘I came across a friend who couldn’t help but crib about almost everything around in his life-: his organization, boss, colleagues, wife, children, daily chores, taxing client, television being so monotonous, outings becoming increasingly expensive, traffic and how driving through it in the peak hours was an art, etc…’This is practically content of daily conversation of almost every second working professional, whereby work and life both reprimand an individual. In the past twenty- five years, scholars have produced a substantial body of literature on the intersection of work and life. Faced with an increasing representation of dual-earners, partners and single parents in the workforce, a blurring of gender roles, and a shift in employee values (Greenhaus & Singh, 2004).
