Abstract The present study highlights the conflict resolution methods used by employees of Preeti International Ltd. (name disguised). The famous Thomas Kilmann Instrument was used for analysis of responses. Five modes of resolution of conflict have been defined be Kenneth W. Thomas and Ralph H. Kilmann which are competing, accommodating, avoiding, collaborating and compromising. This study revolves around all these five modes. It was found that the employees at Preeti International Ltd. resorted to competing mode in most of the situations, followed by accommodating, avoiding and collaborating. The compromising mode was less used. There is no right or wrong mode of conflict resolution. Every situation demands a different, best suiting mode.
