Cost cutting, concern for environment and increasing rules and regulation related to environments have resulted in making industries think about better and cost effective ways of doing the marketing. The answer to the above mentioned problems is GREEN MARKETIG. Green Marketing Also known as environmental or ecological marketing, green marketing is the promotion of various types of goods and services that are considered to be environmentally safe. These products are normally designed using natural or recycled materials, and are said to have little or no negative impact on the ecology of the planet. Many goods that meet this criteria are biodegradable, meaning they actually help replenish the planet rather than create an added burden to nature.
