Abstract

Policies play a key role in autonomic computing and SOA governance. We will first briefly describe the two domains (autonomic computing and SOA governance) to give the back- ground context of our work within both domains, then consider related work. Software product line (SPL) also will be discussed in this section, as we look at variability descriptors of SPL as a kind of policy.
