Banks are life blood of modern economy ; catalytic agent and stimulants to growth; carriers of savings; providers of funds for economic development; one of the largest employers in organized sector; ensures productive use of scarce funds; and temples of hope to budding entrepreneurs. Banks are for the people (welfare and well-being); by the people (managed by human beings); of the people (owned by shareholders who provide capital). It is people-driven and technology enabled economic institutions wherein provision of skills rich human resources is sine quo non.
