Abstract

Afghanistan the land of the Afghan has had varied past primarily because of its unique geo-strategic location. It is located at the meeting point of four ecological and cultural areas-the Middle East, Central Asian republic, Xinging province of China and the Indian sub-continent. The importance of Afghanistan lies in the strategic mountain ranges of the Hindu Kush, the great dividing line between Central and Southern Asia.
