Abstract

The paper tries to evaluate the causes of the ethnic conflicts in Assam. The study conducted in the various ethnic conflicts that took place among them at different times in Assam. The study tries to bring to light various cause and reasons for increasing ethnic conflicts in Assam after independence and tries to give some important suggestions to minimize the conflicts for the greater interest of the Assamese society
