Abstract

Democracy is not only a nature of government but also is a system of society and a sort of state well wisher of democratic system have expressed their views that democracy is only a form of government. As far as democracy is concerned, the definition given by Abraham Lincon is very popular. He defines; “Democracy is the government of the people for the people by this people”. Although Dr. Ambedkar had defined democracy in the same essence. However it has a broad sense of democratic life. He envisages; Democracy is not merely a form of government. It is primarily a mode of associated living of conjoint communicated experience. It is essentially an altitude of respect and reverence towards fellowmen.
