Abstract

Vibrational spectroscopy encompasses the techniques of infrared (IR) spectroscopy and Raman spectroscopy. Both are techniques that have been in existence for more than 60 years, but both have shown remarkable growth in the past 10 years or so because of advances in instrumentation technology.
