Abstract

Our Indian Constitution has taken the responsible of maintaining national unity & integration. Therefore, the constitution provides two sets of safety valves in order to provide security & protection. At first, the President rule in the event of Constitutional machinery in the state and second is by proclamation of emergency due to national crises on account of war external aggression and internal disturbance. Dr. Ambedkar justified centre’s interference in the sphere at state even during normal situation because of its duty to protect the states if there is external aggression or internal commotion.
