Abstract

The economic development comes into existence through intellectual process of mobilization, combination and allocation of productive resources and the same task is meaningfully carried out by entrepreneurship which is given life force by the entrepreneur. Entrepreneurship is a creative activity. It is the process of designing, launching and running a new business, which typically begins as a small business, such as a startup company, offering a product, process or service for sale and an entrepreneur is a person who starts, organizes and manages any enterprise, especially a business, usually with considerable initiative and risk rather than working as an employee”. He is an innovator and generates new ideas and business processes. Management skill and strong team building abilities are often perceived as essential leadership attributes for successful entrepreneurs.

Abstract

Present study is based on measuring the impact of demonetization which was held in India in month of November and December in year 2016. The old notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 was replaced by new one. Demonetization in the economy a major step to reduce corruption and poverty as quoted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. All Indian market segment was affected by demonetization but present study measuring impact of it on the two-wheeler industry. This presents the comparative study of two wheeler industry`s sales (specially Bikes and scooters) in the month of November and December, which were related with the demonetization period. With the emergence of internet, the consumers take part in building brand image process which shows a shift from traditional word of mouth communication to electronic word of mouth communication. The consumers now have the power to express their opinions with others over the internet, this makes companies to be more careful. As negative comment could harm the image of the company since the opinions are shared over the internet and it reaches uncountable people at the same time. This study finds the motivational factors for consumers to get involved in electronic word of mouth communication and provide answer to the question: what makes consumers to get themselves involved in the electronic word of mouth communication?

Abstract

There has been extensive research in the last few years on adapting teaching to differences among learners, on the social and institutional context of teaching in higher education and, more recently, on the theory and methods of research on teaching. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of various teaching methods used for teaching students for higher education. This review of literature on Quality Teaching aims to provide a theoretical background to the quality of teaching in Higher Education. It highlights the main debates on the topic to date, hoping to present the different perspectives that exist on the topic of quality in teaching. The review of the literature is organized in three main parts as to address three major questions: 1) “What is Quality Teaching and why is it important in higher education?” 2) “How can teaching concretely be enhanced?” 3) “How can one make sure Quality Teaching initiatives are effective?”

Abstract

Black money or unaccounted money circulating in the parallel economy is a big menace to the economy. The study aim is to be attempted to assess the overall profile of parallel economy in India, particularly in terms of causes, impacts and government initiatives. The indicator show that parallel economy has been expanding very rapidly in India as well as in developing countries. The government of India already introduced various commissions for estimating black economy but estimation reports are not same. Indian government is more concerned about the prevalence of the parallel economy and various commissions are formed for controlling it but results are not so impressive. Thus, the research suggests that recommendations of the commissions or laws should be implemented correctly for reducing volume and bad effects of black economy
